Event description:

In this session, distinguished speakers will share their experiences in dealing with current issues on migration and development, with a particular focus on return migration, a challenging issue globally following the increase in asylum seekers and undocumented migrants. The session will also serve as a launch event for the new Migration and Development Brief which reports global trends in migration and remittance flows, major policy developments, and the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) indicators for reducing remittance costs and recruitment costs.
