Impact of COVID-19 on Internal Migration and Labor Markets in Cities

As a part of its a multi-country study on the Impact of COVID-19 on Internal Migration, Labor Markets and Urbanization in cities, KNOMAD is compiling a survey-based database of the experience of internal migrants in cities during the pandemic. The surveys focused on how migrants coped with the economic and social challenges that emerged during the pandemic. Main topics covered: socio-economic charateristics, migration history, employment, access to healthcare, education, housing, transport and government response to COVID-19.
